What is usage-based billing?

Our usage-based billing model calculates charges according to your utilization of Bybrand. This approach ensures you pay only for what you use, providing a fair and transparent pricing structure.

What are these system resources? They are the email signatures, and employees imported into Departments in your account.

How does it work?

In August 2024, Bybrand adopted a new usage-based pricing model, replacing the old Professional and Business plans. This new system offers greater flexibility and transparency.

After the trial period, we will notify you by email to purchase the base plan, or you can make the buy directly on the system at any time.

At each billing cycle expiration, your account will be charged for usage (email signatures created and employees imported).

The plan starts from the day you make the payment. It does not matter what day of the month it is. The plan is valid for 1 month (30 days).

Pricing

Please note that prices may vary depending on your country’s currency. Full prices can be found on the pricing page.

  • Base pricing: Pricing starts at a base price of $2 per month.
  • Email signatures: Each additional signature costs $0.80.
  • Employees: Each employee added to a department costs $0.50.

FAQ about usage-based billing

Why usage-based?

Selling email signatures by quantity seems fairer. We would rather not surprise you by overcharging you for something you don’t use.

How can I calculate the cost based on the number of signatures in my account?

Use the following formula to estimate your monthly cost:

Total Cost = $8 (base) + ($0.80 x Number of signatures) + (R$0.50 x Number of Employees)

When will I be charged?

Your account is only charged when the billing cycle has ended. That is the date of the Next Renewal.

If I remove resources days before the plan expiration date, will I be charged?

No! Billing is closed two days before the due date.

For example, if your account has 80 employees in departments, and you remove 20 employees 5 days before renewal, you’ll have a total of 60. Your account will then only be charged for these 60 employees in departments.

Can I see the cost of my plan?

Yes! You can consult full usage details and the estimated cost of your account and the next plan expiration date. In your Bybrand account, visit the AccountBilling & Usage and the sub-menu Usage for details.

When does my plan expire?

Your billing date is the day you bought the plan, so this is different for everyone. You can see the renewal date for the Usage area.

In what currency will I be charged?

The default currency is US Dollars (USD). We currently also offer support for the following local currencies:

  • Australian Dollar (AUD);
  • Brazilian Real (BRL);
  • Canadian Dollar (CAD);
  • Euro (EUR);
  • Pound Sterling (GBP);
  • Mexican Peso (MXN)

We have no control over the exchange rate charged. Taxes can be applied in your region.

Can I check my billing history?

Yes! In your Bybrand account, visit the menu: AccountPayment information and the menu Billing History for details.
